People were willing to give up their civil liberties following 9-11 because it was such a shock and people were blinded by patriotic rage/fear but now the black flag factor is becoming more and more obvious and blatant.
People are dumb. They wont stand up till its obvious. For example. Most people don't even know what wiretapping is. They support the patriot act because it helps find terrorists (it doesn't) When the normal sheeple thinks of wiretapping they imagine an.agent tapping into someone connection and.listening in. No. That's not how it works. The nsa has a splitter set up in the atnt HQ. It is a routing center where literally 90% of all.communications in the world eventually have to go through to get to America. The splitter copies every single piece of data phone internet or otherwise. This includes local calls. Calls into and out if the country. And all internet activity in Tue country. The splitter tthen sends the information to a supercomputer. Tue supercomputer picks out key words like "bomb" for example. It puts high level threats at the top of the list where they are referee to real people for eavesdropping purposes. So basically every single thing you type here or on face book or text to your friend is being watched by the nsa. Voice is trickier. They can't pick up key words on voice yet so its harder to mass wiretap phones, but once they get a hit from texts they can actively.listen in on phonecalls. Then there is the dreaded ndaa. Which allows for the government to arrest "terrorists" without due process. Problem? Without due process how do you prove someone is a terrorist? Most people are convinced the government won't just arrest random people so they.let this.one slide too. Most people also don't know that I'd is required to buy draino now in some.places. this isn't company policy this is government.policy. The FBI is currently pushing for more investigating power so they can use sites like this one to persecute people. But most people don't know that either. The majority won't stand up until the real bad stuff starts. They will just eat.up the nessesary evil shit until they realize they can't do shit anymore. People even forget that this same shit happened in the last two hurricanes. Police literally broke unto people's houses and did warrentless searches for guns. Their justification?
