Question! So i'm working with an indoor setup 60x60x80, 600w digi ballast, MHC bulb and HPS. Inline fan&carbon filter. It's a soil grow, I was wondering how many plants could fit comfortably in that size? Also, with a mainly or fully indica stain, I understand it is very dependent, but round about how many ozs can I expect from each plant? Speaking theoretically as if all factors were taken care of correctly.
I'd say 4 plants, gives em some room to grow. 7-10gal pots Yield could be anything. I'd aim for 1-3 oz per plant with training such as a Scrog, LSTing and Topping Here are the links to stickies for each training technique: Topping/FIMing: http://forum.grasscity.com/plant-training/122559-how-fimming-topping-made-easy.html Low Stress Training (LST): http://forum.grasscity.com/plant-training/122936-how-lst-low-stress-training.html Screen of Green (ScrOG): http://forum.grasscity.com/plant-training/48363-scrog-method.html
Thanks alot, super helpful. After seedling, which size pot do you suggest moving them into before proceeding to 7?
Either straight into the 7gal, or if you want, you can transplant (at 2wks) into 3-5gal until flower, then into the 7gal. I recommend going from your small containers to start them, then straight into 7-10gal to avoid transplant stress. I also suggest buying Smart Pots which air prune the roots and stops the plants from becoming rootbound
