Lumatek Dual-Voltage Digital Ballast 600W - 240V Dual - eBay (item 260482816738 end time May-24-10 17:17:35 PDT) I am looking at possible upgrading to 600w and I just ran across this ballast. With this run two 600w at once? Anyone have one? So this is basically 1200W? Is that correct?
I bought a Lumitek 600w Digi ballast about a month ago I guess and it has been doing great. It has no hum whatsoever but it does get a little hot so I would try to mount/place it in the coolest area possible. As far as your question about it being 1200 watt it dosent do that. It does have a super lumen setting, but I never use that I always keep it set to 600. I am happy with my purchase. I also bought mine from a local shop because I never like to make high priced purchases to places I can't walk in and see or return my stuff. They cut me a good deal that turned out to beat any place I could find on the net. Good luck.
