600 watt too close??

    I’ve got a 600watt bulb 9” away. Is it too close?the temp never gets higher than 78 somedays even as low as 75.

    I would imagine as long as your temps don’t get high or your plants don’t touch your bulb you should be fine. Your in control, if you feel something isnt safe then try taking it up a couple inches. Good luck with your grow!

    Get a laser thermometer. Take leaf temp measurements. Only way to know you're good for sure.
