It's been one week, so far so good.

The title of each picture is the date that it was taken.

The temps for the most part are at 85 F.  Not great but it could be worse.

I know it's too hot, but there's nothing I can do about that right now.  Our Air conditioner hasn't been fixed yet so the temps are gonna be hot until it gets fixed.  Yesterday was hell, the whole house was 85 F, while outside was 85 F

    Northern Lights # 5

The good thing about Northern Lights is that it's fairly easy to grow, and can take a beating.

  7. Nice I am waiting for my NL#5 x Haze to sprout.

    I'm subbed.

  8. I had about a week of my grow chambers hit 83*f because I was upgrading my cooling system....
Which by the way is TOTALLY BAD ASS...  lmfao

  9. It sounds bad ass. What's the make and model? How many watts does it use?

  10. It's a JJ Custom DIY....
The 1hp Chiller (12,000 BTU A/C conversion) is 1100w and the pump is 350w...
The system cools 4,800 watts of HID, the intake to the lights is about 80*F, and the output is around 65*F......

  11. ....wow...uh my electricity bill is high enough as it is....sky high. :smoking:

  12. ROFLMAO
Ever hear the old saying "it takes money to make money"  :confused_2:

Mid summertime my elec bill is around $600, give or take $100...
Here is how I keep track of my ROI (Return On Investment) of each grow...

  13. Funny thing...
I was setting here zoning out and looking at moving my chambers around a little to cut costs and I start looking at elec...

So I start adding up what's being used...
I have two 2400 watt chambers, an 1800w chamber, and a 1200w chamber...
To cool all that I'm running 2200w in chillers and the blowers are another 780 watts....

When I run that through this site....
    http://www.advancednutrients.com/conversion_tools/powercost_tool/powercost.html

I get $613 at $0.16 cents per kWh...
And I have to check my bill, because I think after so much it goes up to $0.18, which tacks on another $80...

So ya, I was pretty spot on when I said about $600 a month...
Well, that's not including what the household uses, that's another, say $150-200....

    :hide:

  14. Sadly for us our electric bill was almost $500 last month and that was before I started this grow.  I did the math at 10 cents per kwh and calculated that it would cost about $40 a month just for the 600 watt lights(not including fans, etc), and $35 monthly for flower. You mentioned spending money to make money; this is strictly a medical grow for my epilepsy, I wouldn't be selling it.

  15. And I supply the medical patients which cannot grow for one reason or the other....
I do this full time and I run it as a non-profit business, most of the time OZs are given away for $120-140, where EVERYONE else in the area is $220-260, then the shit I grow is way better then most in my local area, I also personally do it because it really does help people which cannot afford the equipment, don't know how to, disabled so they cannot maintain, more or less the setup...

Trust me, I ain't no rich MF'er....  lol
I live in a house that was sold for $8,000 4 yrs ago..................
So again, it's not like I'm living on the high hog here.... roflmao

Well its a noble profession helping people.  I think if people all around the U.S. started growing more, prohibition would end in a day.  I will do my part cuz the east coast is...
