About a year ago I attempted my first grow and failed miserably after trying to cut every corner possible. Anyway, I have several leftover supplies. This time around, I've been lucky enough to find an actual grow room and could use some help setting up.

I want to grow 4 clones and have a successful harvest before I move on to anything more. If this goes right, I hope to do a second grow from 16 clones and eventually Id like use the room to its full potential.

The room is 10'x6'x7'(LxWxH) and the only thing in the room is a 2'x6'x'4 table that is mounted on the back wall. Otherwise the room is empty except for 2 shop lights plugged into the wall at the only outlet in the room. The door is off and needs to be replaced so I figured I could be creative with that and have a proper

    Grow supplies I have left...

    2 15" oscillating fans
    1 4" fan
1 4" 80 cfm square fan from the hydroponics store (looks like computer fan but heavy duty)
10" inline fan, i think its 800 cfm... this can easily be installed in the wall for exhaust fan
    digital ph meter
    thermometer/hydrometer
    digital 24hr thermometer/hydrometer
    200W CFL
3x3x6 grow tent, similar to Secret Jardin

I would like to invest in a HPS/MH light, I was thinking one 600W to start, thoughts?

Currently, the room is around 40-50% humidity and 52-65F. The $600 budget is not strict, just sort of a guideline and an amount I'd like to stay near. Any suggestions or similar setups would be appreciated.

  2. personally if i had that kind of gittup i would look into, two er three 600w switchable MH/HPS
according to ed rosenthal, we get better light coverage using two 600w than one 1000w. not to mention one 600w generally saves 7-8% on overall energy compared to the 1000w. plus we get our lighting closer to the crop. which make me happy.
that is from mr. ed himself. bubbleponics works out to be very cheap. very fast. very reliable. not only that but we can use different nutes for different beauts if you catch my drift.
placing the plants on tables with wheels and creating one working aisle would be essential to maximize your space. only one working aisly is needed. just move the tables and work the next aisle, then move and work, and move and work etc.....

use the grow tent for vegg/momma city.
    thats what i would do.

oh, and grab a TDS stick to measure your PPMs.
hydro is damn near retard proof with a pH adjuster and TDS stick. damn near.
