  1. I was able to get my hands on 6 CFL Twin 55w lighbulbs. Turns out they're 4100k. Are they basically useless?

  2. I have bulbs that are 2700k that i plan on using for veg cuz i got the wrong ones on accident, as i understand it the correct spectrum will work a lot better (2700k for flowering) 6400k for veg, but everything in between will still work for both just not as good

  3. Oh, ok. So allthough not perfect, they're still acceptable.

  4. So, to be exact. These are my materials:

    6 55w 4100k CFL Light Bulbs (link)

2 Fullham Workhorse 8 Ballast (link)

So I've figured out this is the diagram I'll be using

What are the R1 and R2 marks on the diagram?
Do the wires just stay in the 2G11 Base adapters?
And I'm assuming the black and white wires go to power, but what kind of power source can I hook that to?

  5. I've been reading about veg growth and non-6500k lights. Apparently they grow alright, with the major difference being in that they are all stretched out and have thin stalks.
I personally wouldn't want to grow with non 6500k during veg, at least in regards to using CFLs, but I'm super super picky and probably have OCD haha.
I bet the plants would turn out pretty good if you LST them at least.. and that the flower stage has it's appropriate light spectrum
