6 Weeks flowering, sweet leaves dying???

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by JayJays, Sep 23, 2009.

  1. What type of medium; soil or hydro? Soil
What brand and type of soil? Exotic, from Walmart
    Indoors or outdoors? Outdoors
    What strain? bagseed
How old are the plants? 14 weeks, 6 weeks into flower
What is your watering frequency and source of water? Every 3-4 days
What, how much and when was it fed? NPK?
What is the medium/runoff pH and PPM if in hydro? 6.7
    What size pots? very large
Any bugs? Look real close. spider mites,

So the plants were both looking great, I had a little issue with a few spider mites, I only saw 2 but sprayed the plants with Safers insecticital soap, plant had leaves yellowing before, but I figured it was just flowering, but now the sweet leaves (smaller leaves around the bud) have started to yellow and die as well. I stopped ferting last Friday as I thought we were getting too close to harvest. Looks like it's going to be another 2 weeks until harvest. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, R+ for any intelligent response
  2. Sweet leaves shouldn't yellow. Try giving it a little food...a small dilute amount and see if that perks them up.

  3. I gave the plants a lite ferting and watered with molasses, lets hope it works out.
