Would that be ok to use? I'm often not at home when my lights need to go off and on and I need a digital timer to turn them off and on for me, can I plug my surge protector into a digital timer with the digital timer plugged into the wall? Or is that over kill? Or would it even work since my surge protector has an on/off button?
