Well.. I have alittle problem with my seedling has 4 leaves but it isnt growing, it's like it got to that point and then just stopped. I think the problem is the terra cotta 6 inch, I'm thinking the pot is too big. If anyone could throw some input in id really appreciate it. After all i had 12 Skunk#1 x Lowryder and only ONE seed germinated, yes 11 dead seeds. Edit: The plant is about 12 days old
Bad luck dude. What technique were you using to germinate? Your pot isn't too big, your seedling will be fine, I use 6" pots for the 1st week or two of growth. You could use 10 gallon pots and the plant would be fine. Try to use plastic pots in future, clay can leach moisture from your soil.
Well I had 2 glasses of distilled water, 6 seeds in each+ a drop of superthrive in both and 24 hours. Nothin, then i put them in damp paper towels, and another 48 hours, 1 hatched. no more local skunk for me, goin for Jock horror next time, problably gonna buy 2 packs of 10 Fi.
Grizzly I hope you didn't toss your beans just cause they didn't sprout in 3 days. Most seeds do sprout within 24-48 hours, but they can take up to a week or more. Some of the beans I just germinated took 24 hours to sprout, the others took about 6.5 days.
mine took a full week and a half to hatch, and every single one sprouted... to bad i didn't have the room and lighting at the time, otherwise i'd still have 10 plants... keep those seeds germinating... it takes times... and use the bigger pots... so you don't have to change the pot later on good luck
