I have a 5x5x7 grow tent with a 1000w xxxl cool hood hid light. 2-6" inline fans for cool hood and tent cooling 1-8" vortex fan for charcoal air scrubber. Where I'm stuck is yeild. I want to make sure I get the best yeilds possible. Should I go with many small autos (10-20) or 5 large bushy plants vegged out for 2.5-3 months? Any info helps and is appreciated. This will be my first big (well big to me) grow. I understand there are lots of factors that greatly affect yeilds but lets just pretend it's a perfect grow set up. Thanks in advance!!
More plants = more problems... but more plants = more fun IMO. You get to watch them all grow quickly! I would go with 15-20 autos
Thats what i was thinking too. Also just because of how fast those autos grow compared to a few bushes that are vegged out for 3 months then another 2-3 in flowering. The only down side is not being able to clone autos.
True. You could get a male and make some auto seeds of your own with one or two plants and have an auto seed stash. I really enjoy watching plants grow pretty fast though.
A lot of the time autos are feminized, but sometimes you will get a male. I mean you could cross with a normal male plant? It would still have the ruderalis genetics in it.
