Based on my current pictures, any tips or advice? Also, this will be the first week of absolute darkness 12/12 so technically I should just go by trichome color towards harvest correct? Lastly, any ideas what type of deficiencies are in a few of the pictures I took?

  2. 3rd pic looks like Cal mag. Fourth looks like potassium , not too sure about the others hard to tell

  3. They look fine really, a few discolored leaves aren't that big of a deal. It's probably because those leaves are lower and on the inside, no light and the plant just doesn't need them anymore.

  4. Comment on pic #2. No need to stock up on the munchies yet. You still have a few weeks left.

  5. First Pic had me stumped, may be a deformity but cool, I added cal mag to my last feeding so we’ll keep a close eye

  6. Pick off the ones that are completely yellow

  10. My thoughts exactly, sometimes doing too much can cause just as much damage. I'm at the same stage as you but this is my 5th , 6th batch this year? I can't remember. But this time I went completely the lazy route, I change the res, and check ph and eq only when there's no water left. In between, I pretty much just let them do their thing. They're thriving, now I wonder why I spent so much time fussing over them in the beginning. It's like that luvs commercial(if you've ever seen it) your first kid vs your second kid

  11. That works too..lol

  12. This is my first grow so I’m actually surprised at how good it’s been going. But I can definitely see your stance lol you learn so much it becomes second nature, etc. I wanna try growing hydro next

  13. I started with dwc. People said it was going to be too hard but, I figured atleast this way, if I got the hardest one down, the rest would be cake. It's been fun, but I hate the waiting part.

  14. Not to mention water and air is free, and soil is so damn messy..

  15. You have a virus in one plant. It may not screw with the plant that much. I've finished plants with it. It looks like TMV. It's clearly seen in this picture. Standard deficiencies do not cause half a leaf to get yellow with a mosaic pattern like that.

  16. I started DWC too. It actually seemed more simple to me. You have all the control. Learning all the proper soil amendments, making your own compost, teas, ect. is just as complicated really when you get scientific about it.

DWC is straight plant science and measurements. Plus the yield in hydro is 40% higher on average.

  17. How does that happen?

  18. Yea, what’s the worst that could happen? LOL

  19. It's very contagious. It could have came in on your shoes or a cigarette butt. TMV is the first virus ever discovered.

Giving a plant aspirin helps. It also boosts growth and health. Look it up.

  20. Seeds can also get infected before they are sprouted. Modern seed companies wash their seeds with TSP to prevent TMV being spread.
