CANTON, Ohio -- Two men were charged with trafficking in drugs after authorities found 500 pounds of marijuana in the back of their vehicle, police said. Gerald Bowerman, of Las Vegas, and William Hammond, of Pennsylvania, were passing through Jackson Township near Canton Wednesday evening when they were pulled over by police for a driving violation. That's when police smelled marijuana and found $500,000 worth of the drug stashed in the vehicle. Jackson police Chief Harley Neftzer said the FBI and local authorities think the rented vehicle from Colorado was on its way to deliver the drugs to an undisclosed location in the area. A 16-year-old also was taken into custody, but was released to the county's protective services agency. "shit thats an hour away from my house"
Alot of people do not know this but I live in Dayton Ohio. I-75 runs straight through here. It goes from the top of Michigan to the very bottom of Florida. So Dayton, Cleveland, Columbus, and Cinci are very good bud towns. Due to the fact that I-75 and I-70 oh yeah I forgot about I-70 which goes straight through Dayton also is sometimes called " The Key to the West " Are both Notorious for drug running.
