Hello GC! To make this growbox you will need: -4 pieces of plywood 2' by 4' (free) -3 single to twin cfl light socket adapters ( $2-3 each) -3 cfl light socket adapter ($2-3 each) - 6 23 watt cfl bulbs, 3 2700k 3 6500k ($3 each) - 1 power strip (free) - 1 piece of wood (free & must be size of power strip) - strong tape (free) -1 2' piece of wood (free) -white paper, flat white paint or mylar (i use paper for free and works well) - 2 hinges ($1 each) - 2' by 2' plywood (free & optional if you can have light flowing out of the top) - 2 ceiling hooks (free) - 2 chains ($2 each) 1. nail or screw 3 2' by 4' pieces together, add the 2' by 2' to the top if you want then add the last piece and put hinges on it to make a door. 2. add white paper, white paint or mylar to all sides. 3. tape power strip to 2' piece of wood, plug the 3 cfl light sockets in and add the single to twin adapters on them, next put the 6 cfl bulbs in the sockets and plug in the power strip and test your new fixture. 4. measure and install your 2 hooks in either the ceiling or the side of the wall and add the chain to the wood part of the light fixture, then hang on the hooks. 5. put your plants in your growbox. now you're finished! this box itself will grow and flower up to 4 small plants, or veg 12 seedlings for a few weeks. hope this helped anyone to build a cheap growbox. i cant take any pictures to show, sorry for that but anyway... cheers!;D
