ok so i have this 5 foot plant that has been in a shed now for like 3 weeks.......it was obviously way too hot in there even with the portable a/c and fans....after it was in there for a week all the leaves started curling over and it didnt look good....i had to leave it in there tho cause i have no other spot for it....so it was in there for another 2 weeks...it looked worse everytime i saw it....so i checked on it today and watered it and it was 102 degrees in there!!! fuckkkkk so i knew i had to take it out...so i took it outside...i pullled all the dead leaves off and i cut off a lot of the curling leaves....the plant looks very bare now because most of the leaves were taken off....my question is...will it survive and will the buds keep growing and getting bigger....i would say 65% of the leaves were taken off...i know this is not good at all for it but it had to be done....it will now stay outside....does she have a chance at coming back and giving me a decent yield? (its about 3 weeks into flowering) please help thank you
They need those leaves to live but it mite make it though. You still did the right thing by pulling the dead leaves though. GOOD LUCK!
They dont really need the leaves at the flowering stage. Ive left 2 sets of fanleaves on mine, like 80% leaves removed, but I did it over time, once it would heal from some cuts id give it a few more. ~6ft
how did the buds turn out on that?? cause i heard that in order for the buds to grow and get fat it needs the energy from the fan leaves....oh well there is nothing i can do....i guess ill just have to wait and see what happens.....if for some reason this plant gives me some bomb fat buds ill definitely post some pictures (cause there are A LOT of bud sites on this big plant....im talkin hundreds of bud sites)
Um I think i started cutting around the same time as you. True that they need the fans, but not so much for flowering. The buds are the most beutiful ive ever seen, I think the fact that when i removed the leaves it increased the light exposure. Also, Ive been told that you can cut all but the bottom set of leaves.
ok can someone please help....all of the leaves are dieing and falling off....ALL OF THEM.....there are just a bunch of little buds all over the plant....will it keep growing??? all the leaves are dieing does this mean the plant is dieing or do you think the buds will keep getting bigger and growing? what should i do
