    Just wanted to say happy 4th of July to all my American friends!

    Working all day and then headed over to a buddy's to do some drinkin' and smokin'. Not celebrating the fourth in any meaningful way, just gettin' my friday on.

    Yeah I don't think we're celebrating it either. All the fireworks shows are going to be crowded as fuck and it's like 95 degrees outside and muggy as fuck. Prolly just grill some burgers and dogs and drink some beer. But I do that often anyway. Lol. My neighborhood was lighting up last night with firework after firework after fucking firework, so I'm sure I'll see plenty from my backyard. It's funny cause fireworks aren't legal inside city limits. Not to mention I live in the hood, so a lot of them sound like gun shots lol. I almost called the cops last night when the first ones went off cause I thought someone was shooting again.

    thx for those kind thoughts.    and happy fourth of july twenty fourteen to you as well.  also thanks for the edit to give us a chance to share what we're doing.   im not doing anything.    but im thinking about going for a jog.  im afraid i wont be able to sleep tonight since i slept til two.   i texted a friend who blew me off a year ago when he moved, just to verify for him that no, i didnt change my number, and yea, i got his text back in november after he eventually did get in touch.   i dont plan on continuing the dialogue in the event he should happen to reply.

    Drinking some patron at work, waiting til 6 (we close early today), so I can go home and get fucked up.

    For some reason I am out of weed on every single holiday! I am sick of it, I just wanna get high and celebrate my right to rebel against the government with explosives. But nope, no weed = nothing to celebrate. And it doesn't help that my mother broke her hip this morning after falling down in a gas station so the day is filled with hospital stuff and a brand new set of bills to pay because the NC government rejected Obamacare meaning that we cannot afford a private healthcare plan because of some preexisting conditions combined with a decline in our family business. It is kinda fucked up to live in a country that refuses to take care of its own people; but hey, I guess owning a business for 30+ years and getting hit hard by the recession isn't enough for us to deserve health insurance at a reasonable cost. That privilege seems to be for the rich and the upper middle class while in the meantime the hard workers and small business owners of the United States are not included....

    Not doing much either just going to smoke some and chill. I gotta comfort my dog cause the fireworks scares the hell out of her and they already started last night with them and I'm guessing tonight's going to be worse.

    I live in a city area also I don't get how these people get these fireworks. I'm in Cali and aren't they illegal here? Some of them are fucking loud too, the last one that went off last night set off car alarms lol. It's crazy.

    Just smoking and doing some grilling. Burgers, dogs, ribs. Probably going to chill with some buddys later tonight, might catch the firework show at the park too.
