Hello and welcome all to my Strawberry Aurora patch of delight! I hope you'll all join me in this season in watching this strawberry dream come to life.

Strawberry Aurora is a marvelous strain that was gifted to me by my good friend Ironhead and was gifted to him by Sickboy (who is no longer active) here from the grasscity community. Strawberry Aurora is a cross of The Purps from SG1 and (Strawberry) Dogshit from Connoisseur genetics. Sickboy thought the cross was too pretty to have 'dogshit' in the name so he named it after his daughter, Aurora, instead. I'm going to also add a few plants of a strain i crossed that Ive just been calling Blood Orange Sorbet, or BOS for short. BOS is a home-crossing of Sunset Sherbert and Blood Orange Tangie by Crockett family. I will be growing in coco coir using Advanced Nutrients as a base nutrients, Canna line Rhyzotonic and Canazyme, Recharge for microbes, and Humboldts Secret Tree Trunk for silica. EDIT: Now that were in flower, I'm using Advanced Nutrients Coco bloom A/B, Big bud, Bud Candy, Nirvana, & Overload.

Lets get to it.
I started with several clones in my home made aeroponic cloner on 8/17/19 and wait 10days for roots to show.

After 10 days we see our first sign of roots! Another cloning success. Wait a few more days for roots to mature and then we begin transplant.

Fast-forward to 9/13/19 and we have ourselves some healthy, even, transplanted clones. So happy and healthy. love it.


I vegged here in my tent until the plants began to spring roots out of the bottoms of the cups and moved everything to a larger, 3 gallon smart pots. Starting to fill out in the tent!

 

After the tent started to fill out, it was time to spread things out a little.






Everyone is getting nice and situated to their new homes!




10/11/19 I gave the plants a good spraying to keep bugs away. I love the way they look after a good foliar feed.
The next day we can see just how beneficial the foliar was cause everything looks amazing!
Lovely even canopy.

 

Todays update looks spectacular! I cant wait till its time to flower. I'm gonna have a beautiful field of strawberries.
Almost thinking I might need to defoliate some of the side leaves and lower branches... but at the same time I'm enjoying this full tent where there is no light wasted.



Im looking at getting some Blumat carrots and doing a gravity feed system. its getting difficult to water them twice a day. If you have info on Blumats or any other gravity feed system please let me know.

 

thanks for the sub Adrienne! SG1 is definitely a legend. wonderful man with tons of great knowledge and experience. I remember back when he was doing a breeding experiment with Goblin king and queen and Dionysus and stuff. Ah man... good times. lol One of my favorite strains came from that experiment line. Unfortunately I lost the strain since then. I believe it was a Goblin King.

 

Omg no way?! Finally in the sales game that's awesome! Lol where can I go to look up what he has and to see this diesel stomper?

 

seeing all of those crosses really takes me back. lol Im for sure gonna have to get me a pack or two. guess I gotta make an Instagram account lol

 

Oh damn! You def can't beat those prices for what you're getting!

 

Time for an update! As you can see, everything looks amazing still. Lol gonna probably flower pretty soon so the side branches don't take up too much room. I need to get the auto feeders set up first tho. Then it's flower time!!! Can't wait.

 

Ordered the blumat carrots for autofeeding!! Super excited. They ought to be here Saturday at the latest. Gonna hook everything up and sit back and watch the buds grow lol

 

Took everything out to give it a good spraying and rearranged some things. Getting ready for the drip feeders

 

Drip feeders are in!!!! Gonna set everything up tomorrow or Monday and have pictures to show you blades. Really excited for this grow. It's definitely one of the prettiest I've ever had. Hoping for the best buds I've ever grown here. Been learning and growing and listening to experts in their fields talk about so many things and putting them all together into what works best for me. Not to toot my own horn.. but I think I've got it down this run. Hoping and expecting great things.

Thank you, I am!! Loving how things are turning out. And the drip feeders work perfectly!! Was able to go out of town without worry.
