Is it possible for a 4inch inline to cool a 1000 watt cool tube and a 4x4 tent suckin through a carbon filter?? Seems like no. But why would they sell a 48x48x76 tent with only 4" exhaust ports?? Doesn't make sense. I'm going to have to buy the tent and cut a 6" exhaust port in the top to cool my 1000w cooltube. Such a pain in the arse!
I wouldn't. Most lamp fixtures require a 6" fan and 1000w is gonna need it. Treat your heat and stink as separate issues and you will better off.
It's very simple to figure out what you require. Figure out the area of your grow tent, and then simply match that with a fan that can replace all the air(CFM) in the entire tent 4 times per minute. Cheers,
I was more curious why a 4x4 would have a 4inch vent. I'm going to cut it to 6 inch I guess. No other choice really. To treat heat and stink as two issues wouldn't that require two inline fans??
Yes. You put them on speed controls so you can "dial in" the system. There is no reason to pump or push more air then what you need.
