I've read that indoor growers shut their lights off for the last 48 hours before harvest. First of all, does this method work? Secondly, could we do it being outdoor growers?
From what I was told from a buddy it's supposed to be a mild stress the will make to plant produce more resin glands. I have done it with indoor and didn't really notice a difference.
I've done it a few times and from what I noticed is that it helps finish turning the tricombs amber faster. I read that the stress make it more potent, creating more resin. If you wanted to do outdoors depending on the plant size you can cover with black plastic or cover with a blanket.
