how can i silence? would a dimmer work? right now fan is on top of tent with no filter inside, but i do plan on buying one when needed.....
If you push through a carbon filter, the filter will act like a duct-silencer. Having a dimmer/speed controller will also make a big difference in reducing noise, as will hanging the fan from bungees to eliminate and vibration noise. You can also build a housing for the fan (a box filled with soundproofing insulation) that will help quiet it down a bunch.
