Hey all. I recently just finished my first hydroponic grow in 5 gallon DWC buckets. Overall the grow was a success. I took away about 5-6 oz of quality medication. It obviously could of been better but it was my first time. Summer is approaching and I am worried about keeping reservoir temps in check because I do not have a chiller. I have decided to go back to soil for another grow and see what I can do. Here is what i'll be using: 400W Lumatek Ballast 400W Ushio MH & HPS (Veg and Flower) Air cooled Hood 3 Gallon smart pots. 6in Inline fan w/ Carbon Filter 2x4x6 Grow Tent. My own personal soil mixture (50% Peat Moss, 30% Perlite, 20% Organic Soil, Lime) Fox Farm Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, Open Sesame, Beasty Bloomz, Cha Ching) SCROG I plan to really SCROG the hell out of these because I was unable to with my DWC setup. I am really looking forward to comparing my soil and hydro grows in terms of quantity and quality. I will update with some pics soon.
