400w hps??

    in the system me and 2 friends are setting up we are beginning with only one 400w hps light for flowering, i was wondering if any one had any suggestions for how many plants maxium could flower simultaneously under this strength of light?? thanks :smoke:

    4-6 full sized plants no more than 8 imo

    I have 3 in 3 gallons going and they seem to like the area I have given them quite well I would say stick with a 3x3 area max with a 400watter. Also use CMH bulbs in your hps ballast instead of the wasteful hps bulb. ;) My plants love it.

    i am running 3 under a 400water to!

    just make sure everything reflects light to the plants... it will work fine for atleast 6 plants.. i wouldnt go more then that.
