I just ordered this 400w HPS light setup - got a great deal at $125 so I snatched the deal up. It should arrive within a week or so. I'll be keeping it in a 4 X 2 tent (5 feet tall) and I've been told to expect it to get hot in there. I thought 150 would not be enough light, so when I saw the 400 for the same price as a 250 I bought it. My light is supposed to be "dim - able" - can this feature be used to control the temp inside the tent?
Well if it is at 50% it would be 200 Watts which should be cooler but then you're compromising wattage.
