    Update 11/2
    9th DAY of Flowering

Plants are looking pretty good. Wondering if I am in a good spot for the 9th day of flowering? It appears like some buds are starting to form.

  4. I also have a question for you guys? BTW love this site. I just bought a $10 PH/Moisture/Light Meter. (you know the little green ones you stick into soil).
The moisture gauge goes from 1 to 10. My question is: Should I Let it go all the way down to 1 before I water.

P.S. The pH of my plants is looking good (right at 7) even though I use well water to water the girls.

    Thanks Guys

  5. CLONING

Having some issues with cloning, I am a complete newbie. Started 4 clones one week ago today. 1 didnt make it. The other 3 look OK.

I have a heating mat and 14w CFL. The cuttings are in rockwool. The setup also includes a bubbler and some water underneath. I added a liquid root stimulator to the water.
NO SIGNS OF ROOTS AFTER 7 Days.

    Here are some pics:

  6. hi the flowering ladies look awsome! looks like a little lst? anyways...about your clones...i would go a separate route with that and would take the dome off...let them breath out a little...if you have some vermiculite...you can just put them in that keep them from direct light....

you should also cut the fans down on the clones...they cannot really support the growth properly with no roots for the leaf that is remaining...just cut each leaf in half...helps with transpiration...

  7. Thanks NaughtyDread,

Yeah I tried my hand at LST. First time so Im not sure if Im doing it right. Thanks for the clone advice. I thought the dome was the way togo because clones needed really high humidity. I will go ahead a try and cut some of the fan leaves in half.

You think these clones even have a chance of surviving at this point?

  8. the LST worked really well...i love the little bushes :D.... you are right in that they do need a slighter higher rH...but not damn near 100% lol...i have taken clones and had them root in straight vermiculite...same thing for straight coco coir....i have an aerogarden so i started putting my clones in there, but still clone in my coir when I dont have the room....it takes normally 10-14 days for roots to show in my coir or verm, but about 7-10 in the aerogarden...

the clones will survive...just trim the fans a little, take the dome off and raise the light up maybe another foot....they do not need such direct intense light...

  9. Thanks NaughtyDread +rep

  10. Hoping to build my own aerogarden with 5 gallon bucket, a 40GPH pump, and some small misters.

Do you just add strait water to you aerogarden, or do you add some sort of root stimulator?

  11. distilled water only....no nutes...because i am not growing them in the garden...just for rooting and then I move them to straight coir for about a week before repotting with all the goodies

  12. Update 11/7
OK 12/12 cycle just came on so I took some pics of the gals.

  13. are these babies where they should be after 14 days of flowering? just wondering how im holding up on my first grow. IMHO they look great!

  14. You look good for fourteen days. Sometimes they don't even show their sex until about now. Those have certainly shown.

  15. cactusgenny,

Luckily I didnt have to worry about that. These were some clones given to me from a friend. I was guaranteed female plants.

I know the female parts were expected. The fact they have shown so well already indicates health and vigor. :hello:

  17. thanks cactus

  18. So my 3 clones are 8 days old no sign of roots. But other than that they look pretty healthy. Also did the last of LST i'm gonna do on the flowering ladies.

    Pics to come!

    Any thoughts?

    is that ok?
