400 watt MH

    How many feet or inches should my 400 watt mh light be from my recently germinated plants?

    Just running a fan right now, air cooling comes tomorrow :)

    It can be close as you can get it while sill maintaining temperatures. Babies can take a 400.

    About a foot should be safe but you can start higher at 2 ft and work down a couple inches a day as they get tougher. In general seedlings are tough as long as they're well watered. They pop right out of the ground to the sun shining outdoors.
