well i bought this light off craigslist two weeks ago, Sunburst 400W E-Ballast, 120v/HPS/MH it came with a 400 watt sunmaster mh lamp in it, it works great my plants really took off under it, but ive been trying to switch it with a 400 hps lamp and i cant get it to work ive tried two different kinds of bulbs and the lights still wont go on.. any advise of what im doing wrong? i mean it says mh/hps light right on the site. help a noob out! thanks guys
The description of that ballast says you need to use conversion bulbs, not standard bulbs so just keep that in mind when you are picking out your bulb.
