400 watt hps heat question

    Yo I'm wondering would I be able to keep my grow tent cooled its 2x4x5.7 with a 400 watt hps if I have a 6 inch duct booster fan as intake and my carbon filter 190 cfm inline fan as my outtake and the grow is in my basement which stays at about 65 degrees

    Also I would have an oscillating fan inside the closet

    yup, should be good
     
    I vent my 3'x4.5' closet with a 600w hps thru a 440 cfm fan and it stays 12-15F warmer than the room, so that'll keep you below 80=

    Yes, but you probably don't need the intake fan.

    I have the same setup and agree with usandthem, no intake fan necessary... Just mind the risk of top burn by minding the distance from the light, scrog works best for me in these dimensions... Good luck!
