Im reaching 4 weeks in flower and still this yellow on some of my tops is not receding. Anyone have a solution?
Don't listen to Joker 4! This is not natural. There is a problem. I have been through the same thing and it took me three grows to figure it out. After a great veg. grow, I flip the lights to 12/12 and, after three weeks or so, the crop begins to get chlorosis (Yellowing leaves) and nothing I do about it changes things. The reason this happens is that the plant becomes root bound during the stretch and therefore begins to consolidate its energy, killing of fan leaves to save the flowers. (You will notice that the bud sites will be the last to yellow). Finally, when I went to one plant per five gallon bucket of soil rule, the problem stopped and I have strong fan leaves right up to harvest time and better buds. Do not be fooled- the chlorosis you are experiencing will have a somewhat detrimental effect of yield and potency. The problem is easily solved by giving your roots more depth and more space. If five gallons per plant seems absurd- it is not. good luck! gm
yea thats what i meant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! naturally roots grow DEEP ???? good advice, same thing happened to my catnip lol
