  1. hello all,:)
i've been on gc for a while now and it is time to make a journal,i just got some new equipment and now its time to see what i can do. In my tent there is a greenhouse trainwreck, dinafem diesel, delicious critical sensi star, and purplekush(a strain that i have had goin for a while now) and heres the tools,

    secret jardin 120(4x4x7)
air cooled 600w with a sunmaster mh conversion bulb
600w hortilux eye hps for flower
440 cfm ecoplus for exhuast and a 190 cfm vortex for intake
    sunshine mix #8 soiless mix
complete line from foxfarm nutes( also use some botanicare)
hydrologic 100 gallon a day reverse osmosis system
    blue lab combo meter(ph, e.c , temp)

temps are 66-69f at night and 73-75f during the day

  2. well sry guys i wanted to upload some pics and stuff but it says i need a security token and to contact admin but i'm using vista and for some reason it wont let some ill try again later

  3. hey man that sounds like a pretty good setup, maybe you can help me with a few questions I have. I am about to buy a grow tent the GROW LAB 145, it's 4 x 4 x 7 and im going to be running 2 NEW WAVE 4ft x 4 bulb T5's and the only thing I am concerned about is the smell. I need a really good duct fan that has no problem pushing air through a carbon filter and at the same time does a good job of cooling the tent. The one thing is I need it to be really quiet or at least not be very noticeable. Do you have any suggestions on the fan and do you know about how much they cost? I was also wondering about how much power in watts/hour your 400cfm fan draws, cause I am going to put it on a timer to turn on every 3-4 minutes so it is not constantly running. Thanks man, hope this is not too much

  4. to be honest bro its a pain in he ass trying to keep this thent cool right now for some reason, to awnser you q's i would say a decent fan will cost you about 120-160$ and as far as takeing care of the sound if you were to mount the fan out side of the tent and biuld a box with sound proofing material inside of it and then put the fan and ducting running threw it it would pretty much not be noticable accept for the vibrations, i actually just built a ducting system froma widow air onditioner to be the intake for my tent. i have been haveing some heat issuses since i just put the 600 hps in and hooked the carbon scrubber up, i hope this helped a lil man keep the q's coming and thanks for stoping by

  5. I'm getting ready to do a similar system.

    Good luck!

  6. hey thanks and yeah I bet your having trouble with heat, that's why im sticking to Florescent. I know that HPS is a lot better but I just dont want to pay the electric bill for what I am producing. I dont think heat will be an issue with my lights, since I have used them in small spaces before but I really just need a really good carbon scrubber and fan.. if you hear of any good ones or can find any info on here about them I would appreciate it. Hope you get that heat issue under control before you get ready to harvest, I had that problem in my garage and ended up gettin bud rot real bad... its a real shame to waist something so nice. Thanks for the help man

  17. Glad to see you got things up and running bro! and by the way looking very "pro" ;) lol. ill definately be turning in to see how this one turns out! Good luck with the rest of the flowering cycle and if you run into any snags hit me up!

  18. Lookin good man, do you think that 600 is too much for that tent? I got the same tent with a 400 and its a bitch to keep it cool and dry. How do like that purple kush? I was thinking about picking up a couple clones of it. Shit looks good keep it up

  19. gald to see that everyone is enjoying the work, thanks for all the love guys, buddha ill definetly be in touch, and jaysew i would go with a 600 if your house i well ventilated or if your basement has tall cellings, it really is a bitch to keep cool like i said i had to modify a airconditioner to get it down to 73-75, but i put it on a timer to come on a lil befor the light and a little bit after the light goes out and it really is doing the trick. i also had to lose the peice of ducting connected to the light and the out side of the tent. so that their would be air being pulled thru the light and a seperate exuast on the tent.
i dont know if that made sense but pretty much i have like 630 cfm being pulled out of the tent. anyways if a 400 is doin the trick then stick with it, good luck on the heat problems bro:wave:

  20. Nice looking tent full man,
