Putting a lot of effort into this. Have a mix of cfl and LED lights. Total 850w draw currently.

My goal is to add many different light spectrums, nutrients and soil amendments.

I have no life, I'm sacrificing my shower, going hungry and devoted months to reading about how to grow weed, full time. Make no mistake, I am 100% devoted to growing some A++ big buds.

4 plants in 10 gallon fabric pots. 2 month veg. Seeds ordered from online seed shop, bubblegum, mango, purple kush.

Tossing up weather to add 1000w mh/hps or another 400w draw LED.

Adding 1000w mh/hps then it will be 450w per plant.

Adding A 400w LED means 300w per plant.

I'm thinking the 1000w hps, for penetration, additional spectrum and increased canopy coverage.

I'm a cannabis aficionado, when it comes to smoking weed. Going to put that fanaticism into growing. It's my first grow, but I read a lot.

Soil consists of - Potting mix for succulents, mushroom compost, manure, gypsum, sand, aglime, fish meal, bone meal, perlite, zeolite, complete organic fertilizer pellets, rice hulls, coco coir and coarse coco mulch all mixed together.

Nutrients - Liquid bat guano, fish emulsion, seasol, humic/fulvic acid/amino acids, professors nutrients organic grow, bio diesel bloom and more.....

Also added imidacloprid, beneficial bacteria, fungus and bokashi rice hulls.

    Lights viparspectra 600w reflector - Draws 300w.
    2 x greenfingers 300w. Draw 120w.
    CFL. Draw 300w.

  2. That sounds like quite a one-pot-wonder you cooked up there. I imagine you had a guide on mixing that soil. You tell us, how do they like it?

15773464342322725351820434483074.jpg Had a lot of PH and pest problems. Added too much sulphur to mix, wanted to slightly lower ph. Getting hundreds of tiny bugs in soil.

I plan on rearranging pots into a square, then hanging this CFL that draws 300w in the middle once they get bigger.

    No guide, just winged it.

20191228_173639.jpg I found THIS!!!!! What is it?? Sprayed with pytherium, added killer microbes, put sand on top, added 20grams richgro bug killa, which is granules of imidacloropid, the recommended dose for 10 gallon pots.

A week later, this comes crawling along.

  7. Looks like you have all your nutes. Not sure on that bug looks like a beetle or a roach of sorts. Hard to believe you've all these pest problems indoors. Maybe line the perimeter of the grow with DE? Or some tiny cups with repellent herbs growing in?

Neem oil deters pests, could always do a spray or a soil drench. Your looking good though

Had 100s of these tiny white bugs crawling all over soil, leaves curling, leaves spotted with dead patches, nutrient defiencies. Added all the amendments for pests chopped all old munted growth. Came good real quick after. Imidoclorapd worked best. Gave them a heavy dose of that.

Have chemical ocd, does my head in, but dammit I'm growing some weed.

  9. Yes perhaps! Sounds like a good plan! Just to clarify, it reads you will spray the soil with neem. What I meant by soil drench is, next time you give plain water, mix in Neem oil and an emulsifier so the neem soaks throughout the whole pot. Should deter any lurkers within the soil and I'd mist the plants themselves when you do this

  18. Apple cider vinegar diluted with tap water helps combat pests here.

This is my current light setup. 2 x 120w real draw led on right. 1 x 280 watt real draw led on left. 1 x 300w real draw CFL in middle. Making for total wattage 820 watts or roughly 200w per plant.

Was thinking moving the two smaller LED lights on right to the sides of LED on left, then add a 1000w mh/hps in their place. This will give all plants a boost and will penetrate into canopy. Each plant will then have spectrum of LED, mh/hps and cfl. Will have 450w per plant then. Now 200w per plant.
