Hey I have noticed several people using CFLS to grow. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on where to buy a 4 socket or 3 socket light for CFLS. I was looking to spend 20-30 dollars for the socket and cfls any suggestions. Tried ebay but couldnt find much
... how many plants are you planning to grow? if its more than one you should be looking to spend a lil more money than that
1 and keeping it short. short veg cycle figured 3/4 cfls plus the light i have on it now should be enuff
at home depot (or other hardware stores) they sell Y-adapters for lights. connect 3 of them and you can have 4 CFL's running. theyre only like 2 bucks a piece. make sure you have a light socket to connect the Y-adapters to, you can use a lamp you already have or buy a socket from a hardware store that you can wire to the wall. all of this only cost me like 15 bucks or so hope that helps
^^ yep, you can also find them at k-mart and walmart and lowes pretty much any store with electrical and lighting supplies
