I have a small grow box that's too hot for my liking using the current fan I have now. I found these 4" flat fans sold at HID Hut (link: http://www.hidhut.com/catalog/flat-whisper-fan-100cfm-p-501.html) and wanted to use two of these as intake/exhaust. The only problem is that you must wire your own plug. I'm pretty handy, but I've always been cautious with electricity and I really don't wanna burn my house down, so could any one-day electricians maybe give me some advice on what I (or anyone interested in these fans) should do? I'd be very appreciative, and so would my grow box Thanks in advance Oh, and I think all I need to do is get the plug end of any 120v household appliance and splice them together. But like I said, I wanna be safe...plus I hate returning online merchandise
Check out www.surpluscenter.com for a better deal on the fans. as far as wiring goes just splice it into any cord of a household appliance old clock, blender? whatever
