4-5 inch plants,should i split the ends?

    is it too early to split the ends? and when i split them do i cut below the fan leaves or cut near the stem?

    its not how tall they are, but more how many sets of nodes they have I wait until they have 5-6 sets and if you wanna top it, you cut right inder the newest set of fan leaves
