This is the place. Under the basement stairs. 3' x 2' 6" area. A 400w HPS hangs 18 inches over the canopy, a 27w t12 grow bulb from walmart at the back, just above it a t5 dual bulb, and the reflectors have 100w -eq. cfls, one 5500k, and one 3500k. Small fan to the right, humidifier below to keep RH in the 40s. The digi thermometer and hygrometer in the canopy reads 44% RH and 75F. Good conditions. Question: Is this safe to do? I plugged it in, and it works, but how do I hang it into the garden without straining the wires in the wire nut? A close up. The plug has no green/ground wire...where should it go? (PS, I'm not using this until I know for sure so don't worry.) This is an old 12v cord for a Linksys modem I used as a power cord for a pc fan. Close up of specs: 12v/0.5A - SW Input - 100v-240v - 0.5A 50-60Hz Output - + 12v/ 0.5A The PC Fan I hooked the modem cord to. The specs: DC 12v / .12A Any further knowledge/help with such matters would be appreciated. Comments are welcome !
if you dont have a ground just tape it up(not a big deal). i usually use a hook to hang the cord from. just make sure you loop it around a couple times so your light doesnt fall when you are not around. the fan is self explanatory just hook the two wires up tape it and plug it in that cord should be just fine
