Just wanting some feedback on my first grow on how the plant is lookin. I'm growin with cfl. Close to 250w 6500k. FFOF soil and have started feeding grow big a week ago at half the recommended dosage. Gettin ready to put in a bigger pot also. Tell me what ya think please. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Looks mint. However FFOF has food I wouldnt worrie about feeding much yet at all.It has food in the soil.The plant is only weeks old. Many people including me at one time tend to equate lots of food with big buds.I find it the opposite,and companys also like to get you to use up their product so you buy more.Infact I use half directed dosage,and feedings at this point usually.Some plants do need more or less food.So it can very I guess. All I do now is feed when my plants tell me to feed them.I dont assume they need food anymore.Except maybe budding additives when switching. In veg new "upper" growth will start getting almost yellow when needing a bit a food.In flower same thing just go by upper leaves ect.Never go by bottom leaf yellowing.It's perfectly normal,and a beneficial process really.The rest of the plant drawing usable leftovers from them.So to speak. Is it G13 PE?I just love theres.. GL
I agree with lettin the plants tell you. I honestly haven't really followed any watering or feeding schedule at all. Kinda just goin with it. I also have never done any kind of gardening so this is my first time with anything like this. I've heard this strain is nitrogen hungry and the first sets of leaves finally yellowed which I wasn't concerned about. As for it being g13 I do not know. I got them from a buddy who has been growing for 25 years and if it produces somewhat of the quality he grows I will be more than happy lol. I am also lst'ing another plant right now. Kinda wanted to grow one without any training and lst the other to compare yields. I'll post a pic of the other one sometime today and see what you all think.
Just wanted to post an updated photo of what I hope to be "girls". I transplanted them two days ago and you can see it seemed to help a bit growth wise. Just gave them a feeding of big bloom and grow big as well. Any suggestions on how much bigger I should let them get before I switch the lights? Also... Am I lst'ing them properly? Seems to be doing what's its supposed to do, but then again, I'm a noob to this. Any advice welcome! Open ears!
Oh and the one in the milk jug is going to my buddies. He was supposed to pick it up a couple days ago but has yet to show. Would hate to have to chop it
Well I can tell you the are definately N hungry. They lookin good. Have you read "How to grow 8 oz of Bud for under $100"?
Could you elaborate more on that please? And no I haven't! Sounds better than the money I have invested in it now lol
