3 piece grinder?

    in a 3 piece grinder, what is the 3rd piece for. i see the need for 2 pieces, with teeth, but whats the third. this pic isnt the best example, but w/e

    3rd Piece is for storage.. at least on that one.

    is there a screen on the botton of the second peice?

    On yours its storage.
    A 4 piece grinder has a top with teeth, a bottom teeth layer, screen layer for collection of ground up weed and finally a place for kief to collect at the bottom.

    usualy its a keif catcher on a metal one i dont know about acrilic but i know thay break easy
