This is probably a stupid question but I got this grinder that has 3 pieces. One is the lid with teeth in it, another is the middle piece with teeth on one side and mesh on the other, and the third is the other lid that is flat. The mesh is supposed to catch kief but I'm kinda confused as to how that works - if it even works - and most tutorials I find are for 4pc grinders. Like, wouldnt the kief just stick to the ground weed when i take it out of the grinder??
The point of the pollen collectors, or 'screens,' is to catch, scrape and secure pollen/kief from the flower. the very bottom level catches the very finest pollen/kief that the screen collects. every time you touch a bud or grind it up, pollen/kief is going to fall off no matter what, so the point of a 3+ piece grinder is to save what you're losing over time.
