  1. Hello, I decided to go get my medical card on my 18th birthday for Anxiety and depression.. They told me that they could only give me 3 months because i havent gotten any documents or proof, so they said i could fax them it once i get it.. My question is.. Where would i go to get proof of depression or anxiety? are there local clinics i can visit, or should i go to a reg doctor? should i admit i need proof so i can medicate with marijuana, or act like i want their meds? I just need a paper showing proof of my condition so i can extent the year i paid for.. the reason i didnt go see a doc before for that is because im against taking pills and feel that they couldnt cure my depression anyways... why i have depression and anxiety is a whole nother story, so please dont say i dont deserve MM when you dont even know me.. thanks!

  2. No way around it...you MUST see a Dr to have things on your records.

  3. Should i admit i want it for MM, or act like i want their meds?

  4. Don't act like you want anything. Just describe your anxiety/depression symptoms to the doctor, let him do what he does, and know that if he gives you a prescription you have no obligation to get it filled. If its in your medical records that you were prescribed a drug for aniety/depression symptoms, it should be relatively easy to get your medical card.

  5. Thanks, thats what ill be doing then...

  6. Lol if nothing else, sounds like you'll have to doctor shop until you find a doc with some sense and sympathy.

But in all seriousness, be truthful and honest, tell them why it works for you. If they don't like it, go on to another.

  7. I have no problem with MMJ, but I can't help wondering if drugs (Of any kind, pills or MMJ) are a solution. Perhaps they treat the symptoms of depression or anxiety, but they cannot address the root cause.

  8. Right on, depending on the severity of it though. Me, I go to a psych. 1/week.
