Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by broke.who, Apr 3, 2018.

  1. hey guys
i have a fastbud fem auto GSC seedling atm with 3 true leaves, seen a few opinions online, some saying to let it grow and some saying it will hermie or be a male and probably better to get rid of as early as possible.

what do you GCer think? please reply if you have come across this yourself

    thanks :love-m3j:

  5. What node is the 3 leaf at?

  6. first true leaves

  7. It's normal next node should have 5 then 7 and on and on till like 11 or 12

  8. its not normal bud. its a trileaf seedling (mutation). normal is 2 true leaves.

  9. What you have is a case of whorled phyllotaxy. It's a fairly common mutation of cannabis. They have a TENDENCY to be males in cannabis, but I've grown a female one (with no 'nanners). So let it grow and hope for the best.

They do look interesting (3 branches, etc) - until they start maturing. Once you flip them to 12/12 and they start developing alternating leaves, the nodes stretch out and the trait disappears! If you want to show it off to friends, keep it in "veg".

The only way you could tell my WP plant from her 2 normal sisters at harvest was to look at her base and see the 3 branches.

  10. Let it grow, Let it grow! Otherwise you’ll never really know! Let it grow, let it grow let it’s true colour really show!

My little contribution, imagine that in Elsa’s voice from frozen, hahaha.
