I'm definitely going to do a full bloom cycle with the 13.5hr day at some point if that's what you're asking. Hopefully my next grow if my stash isn't too depleted and I can take the time... I will be having a few-month grow hiatus this summer for some house work so we'll see... No more LibHaze runs, though - used my last seeds this time.
Day 40 - orange finally visible on camera! Need to do a trim and a bit of tying down soon, but I've been taking a staycation this week and it's been beautiful outside so I've been spending a lot of time in the garden...
Second pistil flush seems to be getting going! I'll stick with the 13-hour days for another week or so...
The cabinet used to be a supercloset, which is essentially a metal storage cabinet with some holes in it for wires and ventillation. The bucket rig is an RDWC system I built to fit in the cab. Here's a full-cab shot from before kicking bloom off...
Bluelab guardian monitor Tracks water temp, pH, and conductivity(EC, TDS, or PPM) COLLECT ALL THE DATA
That badass! I want to start gathering more data. I’m looking for something that logs my temps and humidity for now. I had another friend recommend bluelab. He uses their products on a commercial scale in Asia. Sounds like it’s a professional tool.
I just recently stumbled across their kits. I have one sitting in my cart! This looks like a lot of fun. I’m a computer programmer by trade, so this would definitely be up my alley. Have you messed around with any of their kits?
nope, but I have some bookmarked. I am not a computer programmer, but I can figure a lil out. I think most the freeware has been written up for like environmental controls, so its just a matter of tweaking here and there... but you see what I mean, once you have the know-how of arduino, all controls should be second nature.
I’m definitely going to try out a few modules, at least to see and learn with my own eyes how this stuff works. When I have a better understanding of how things work, it helps me weed out the crap when looking for a pre-assembled parts, and find the better thought out ones.
Light haircut last night to allow some airflow... I did a little tinkering with the light and found I can get to a ppfd of 1050 while using 350w of power - that will be perfection! Gonna keep it at a ppfd of 965 for the next week, but when I go to 12.5hrs I'll bump up to 1050 to finish up.
I dropped to 12.5:11.5 today based on seeing what appears to be a bit of light stress on a few leaves...
Assuming things keep going well, probably. I may drop to the standard 12:12 if it seems like that would help in another week or two...
