I've been having some problem finding information on cool tubes. More specifically how to fit 2 of them to one exhaust? Is it fine if its like Carbon filter>>Cooltube>>Ducting>>Cooltube>>Exhaust? Is that possible? Each bulb is 400w HPS and the exhaust is a 5" RUCK EXTRACTOR. Thank you for help.
Thats not hard you just run some ducting off your exhaust fan to the first light then another piece of ducting to the second light and lastly some more ducting to your carbon filter. Try to keep the ducting as strait as possible avoiding any sharp curves because that can reduce air flow depending on the length and fan cfm.
Just be aware that your second light will not stay as cool as your first, since it is now receiving air that has been heated by the first .
Well if you're running co2 you're going to want a closed exhaust system for 2 lights....where the fans blow instead of suck and end ducting runs out of the room.... I don't use co2 but THREE lights, its called daisy chaining and i use an 8'' - 900 cfm inline fan (In addition to my 6" 500 cfm room exhaust (They work together..!)) You can use duct boosters if you run short with your fan (they cost anywhere from $30-$50)
