Hey allofyou i've been trying to grow a plant and it's about 3-5 inches high after about 2 weeks. Outside with just sunlight and water once or twice a day. Is that normal height? and my other question is what do you do to make the plant bud? Does it just grow that way or do you have to cut and do something wierd? -Squirms
There are a lot of variables when growing outdoors. 3-5 inches in two weeks is fine so long as the leaves and stem look lush and healthy. They'll go thru spurts of growth. Not sure where you live, but in the northern hemisphere, you will be rapidly running out of daylight to grow your plant in. During the peak of my plant's growth, you could almost see it happen. She was growing like an inch a day. Now that she's rootbound and in full bloom, the growth has slowed to around a foot a month.
