  2. Looking good!! Hard to believe u are only 9 days in with a plant that size.. that foxfarm must be helping out a lot...becareful in the future, starting the seed in str8 foxfarm can sometimes be a little too "hot" for the seedling..obviously whatever strain u have, now, is loving every minute of it..lol.. I have noticed that some types don't like foxfarm OF right away and will be stunted or die off..

Just a helpful tip for the future..

    Looking good tho!!!!

  3. I would transplant asap..especially with organic growing...a friend recently taught me that the roots build microbe colonies around them that react with the organic matter, when transplanting, that process is disturbed and takes time rebuild the colonies, therefore stunts the growth and shocks the plant a little..

In other words, get it in the finishing pot asap as to not disturb the microbes around the roots..

    Hope it helped..

    Good luck

  4. thanks i said the same thing about the 9 days into it :hello: i did not start them in foxfarm i started them in jiffy pods... these images are 9 days from a sprout so in all they are 11 days old today.... thanks for the info im gonna buy all pots this weeks just wanted a few inputs on when to transplant to their final homes should i use more lighting? im looking for best results possible

  5. Still, very good growth rate..keep it up!! CFL's work great for the seedling and veg stages, but I would use a HID HPS bulb for flowering.. if u just have one plant than u will need to bush it out to maximize your yield.. I would get a 250 or 400 watt dimmable ballasts and hps bulb for your flowering..good luck!!

  7. how much longer can i keep these in the cups there in right now 14 days old from sprout and im not wanting big massive plants so im trying to keep them kinda short not looking for a huge yield either just looking for success :smoking: i kinda want to know there sex before i get all fancy with transplanting so the longer the better any input would be much appreciated

  8. you should transplant real soon. into something with 5+ gallons. or If you want Real plants i would suggest getting a hydroponic system alot easier then Soil IMHO.

  9. Thanks for the response Silentnvd.. i currently dont have enough space to put all 9 plants in 5 gallon buckets i would love to, thats why i was kinda asking if i could let these go a lil longer to find out sex before i weed through em and get rid of the males. is it safe to veg for another week then flip them or should i transplant to maybe 3 gallon pots then flip them?..as i stated above im not looking to have monster plants just want success.

just installed 4 new cfls 23w = (100w a piece) 2700k 1650 lumens will get 5000k cfl's for flower i wanna finish with cfl i am aware that i wont get a major yield just want a successful turn out.. any more info would be much appreciated.

i will be keeping this thread updated with images and info to the end this is my journal so to speak lol

  10. well you can assume around half of those will be male so you may have room for larger buckets after all :)

    those indica strains grow QUICK!!!

  11. ya my guess was about 3 - 4 would be females, if not less, if any at all.

  12. when i transplant i let the soil dry out a bit? should i shake the soil off roots or just put it all in the new pots?

  13. im not exactly a soil guy but id keep the soil they came in and ADD new soil...if noone else responds with something better :)

  14. just and update :smoking: day before watering seems to be a routine on cycle water every 3 days and they seem to be growing just fine they already have a nice smell to them  just added a few more lights to get under growth will add a few more in a week no nutrients yet. when should i start feeding them there almost 3 weeks old in FFOF..i

i switched them from 24/7 to 18/6 to give them some dark time before i fully switch them to 12/12 in about 2 weeks....

overall how they looking so far?

  15. youll notice when they need nutes. They start getting lighter in color (assuming your Ph is normal) as of now, it looks like you have all they need in the soil theyre in. You may get through the veg cycle without having to nute them :)

  16. This is why I buy Feminized seeds so i dont have to deal with Pesky Males. The first plant i ever grew was a male i was so dissapointed. you can also kinda tell which ones are male before they even show sex. If there tall and lanky Long internoded Most likely a male. Males Grow faster and taller to let pollen drop down on the females

  17. just a few more images not to much going on some inner growth is happening now gonna push another week of 18/6 as you can see some of them are slowly growing and some are taking right off and growing like weeds

how they looking so far? ya i know my space is very limited hence why i cant wait to determine sex to get rid of some of these lol
    well here are the images.
