277V to 120V

    I need help guys.Afriend of mine gave me a high ps light,I went to hook it up,but it didnt work then i noticed it had 277V on one of the wires so Ilooked for one [wire] with a 120V on it but there wasnt Its a brand new light and hope there is a way to get it to work on regular house current. Its a parking lot light. ANY SUGGESTIONS!? newghigh

    is the ballast a multi-tap (does it have alot of wires coming out?)... or you can buy a voltage converter, just go to your favorite search engine and search for "voltage converter"...

    Thanks for the reply,I went to the local lighting store and asked the guy for another ballast, I told him I was helping a friend of mine who was putting up a securityu light on his house,The guy behind the counter told me Icould use a multi tap ballast. The only problem was they cost 129 dollars. Cant afford it this week next week is payday.I m BUMMED.
