Hi all, I has a question about lighting. I am about to buy a MH light (for the veg chamber) and I am trying to decide between the 400w and the 250w. I will be growing 4 plants and leaving one in there as the mother. The space is about 5 feet wide and 2 feet deep. I know that if I get the 400w it will take more resources to keep the space well ventilated. So is it worth getting the 400w or is 250w enough? Will it make a significant difference in yield? If you can handle the heat and the extra electricity cost, go for the 400w. But what's this about keeping the mother in with the other plants? What about when you want to be flowering?
i flowered 2plants pretty nicely using only 2 42watters and 1 26wattcfl they even work good in small numbers if you have to. I agree with you that if your gonna stay under250 watts of light power then cfls are better much better. great post wesal + rep!
