I dont find anny 5000K-6000Kelvin lamps at the local stores only 2500kelvin ones. Can i use em for veging annyway or is it stimulating flowering and ruins my veg? S4 + Taptalk = Stonerific
Its really beneficial to get the 6500k ones...you can go to a garden center and get 1800lumen 6500k grow cfls for 10$ a peice, its a huge rip off price wise...but if its that or 2500k you might wanna consider it, it wont affect your plants health, but it will grow slower which costs you more in electricity, water, nutrients, and time. I would check lowes and home depots that you have not checked yet, they usually have 2 packs of 6400k cfls for ~9$
I get the cheap 4 pack of 6500k bulbs from walmart for $10. The plant will grow under 2500k because it they still contain blue wavelenghts, just not as much of them so they are much less efficient.
