2 Plants SCRoG'd into chicken wire then supported by trellis net. 1 month 1 1/2 week vegging. About 3 more weeks until they get cut at the stalks and hung upside down while still on screen. A ten week crop at least, and the lemon and dank scents are starting to stank. Sorry about the lines in the pics. They are caused by the HPS Lights. Here is a little fool-proof nutrient list I came up with....dosing is a whole other subject entirely. I had some Ph problems in the beginning of flowering and was able to get the medium ph stable in the last 3 weeks. Anyone know of a good way to keep your ph stable? Should probably mention I'm in coco

    Canna Coco A+B
    Rhizotonic
    Canna Cannazyme
    Heavy 16 Prime Enhancer
    Magi-cal
    Big Bud
    Kushie Kush(do not recommend)
    Bloombastic
    Superthrive
    Earth Juice Grand Finale
Plat. is the first 2 pics, larry the second 2. Platinum left, Larry Right. Split down the middle.

  2. Anybody know anything? pH stability is crucial to me right now....

  3. so you're in coco coir, so you're hydro. your optimal ph is 5.8. coco is all i grow in anymore. since you're hydro/coco, you can be feeding every day. don't worry about your medium ph, not important. what you want to be doing is getting a good 15-20% run-off "every" time you feed. this will act as a flush, and wash out built up nutes. since the plants will be feeding/drinking, the ph will constantly be changing in your medium. as long as the ph going in is correct, don't worry about what it is coming out.

  4. really? so if my medium ph is 5.3 and phosphorus is locked out at 5.49, isn't that bad?

  5. as long as the feed is 5.8, and you allow for run-off, it doesn't matter what the medium ph is. (many will disagree with this, but i "never" have ph issues in my coco.) i figure you probably haven't been feeding often. maybe once or so a week? so the plants are feeding/drinking, which effects the ph in your coco. if you start feeding daily, or even every other day, you'll do much better. just remember, run-off is essential in coco. trying to constantly get the medium ph to where you want it is called, "chasing ph." it's possible to get it right, and it works, but it's a huge pain in the ass. every time they eat/drink, the ph will once again be off. if you try what i'm telling you, you should see changes in a few days. that's what i like about hydro. things happen fast, and you can respond as fast! you're pretty far into flower, so don't expect miracles, but you should see some improvement.

I have mine on a drip system watering 3x a day with 5% runoff. they drink about one liter each feed....they would die if i watered every other day....i mean...do u see how heavy those top are dude?

  7. Then water them heavier and theyll dry out longer....

Not a coco grower...but use to be hydro guy...chasing ph sucks...and 5.5 is not horiable...

Read your plants not ur meter...give.grow bots.method a try...and see How they responde....his opinon is not going to effect anything IMHO to your grow.

What are you doing now When u see ur runoff at 5.5?

Just keep watering @ 5.8 no matter what, and it comes out in runoff as 5.31. I mean they look as good as they are gonna get, 2 1/2 weeks before heart-ache time. I just switched to the earth juice so we'll see how that affects them. Is there a cal-mag additive with 0 nitrogen in it? the magi-cal is 2-0-0and WTF? if i didnt read my meter i would be giving them a ph of * water. im out.

I know alot of coco grower that dont bother with run off ph...like bot said as long as ur feeding 5.8 in..
They look good to me...i wouldnt stress so much, just dont forget to give urself a 5+ day flush with plain water only. I wouldnt worry so much about changin nutes now...your pretty close to flush as it is....

Calmag always has N in it.

Wheres ur larry from, cali connect?

It was a clone-only cut from the dispensary across the street from me. Both of them actually. Here's an updated 30x bud shot of some abused lateral branch of the platinum.
I started them on Epsom salt and Molasses and stopped using the Magi-cal and Bloombastic, because I noticed my ppm levels in the runoff getting higher and higher, till they got to about 1500 and started showing signs of burn, and i flushed. Nutrient burn is really easy to come about in coco, I'm learning.
Next time, less ferts in veg and more in bloom. Plants are loving the organics as opposed to the chemicals. I am reducing my bloom nutrient ppm levels gradually to nothing, which will result in a 4-5 day plain water flush. Have been using RO/distilled water for the whole grow. Estimated weight: 7-9 ounces. Anybody ever tried growing in vermiculite and perlite mix?

  11. Week 9 BTW. Anybody ever used vermiculite and perlite before?
