  1. currently I’m running 3 plants under 24 hr veg, I’ve been doing this for about 2 weeks now,
I’m wondering if anyone here has done the 24hr light on for such a long veg time? And if u did how did it turn out?

  2. Naaah not the best schedule for photos but great for autoflowers

  3. would it make a difference if they are clones?

  4. NO! But let me say this... how much light you want to beam down on your plants is always up to you. I know for me, for many years I would listen to others and follow their advise, but after you grow for a good amount of time you will learn that 24/7, 20/4/7, 18/6/7 are pretty much the same when it comes to growing photos from seeds or clones. I also use to run all my mothers under 24/7, but now even those get just 18/6/7 because through the years I have done many side by side clone tests using clones from all my mothers and the clones that I veg under 18/6/7 always seem like they are happier, (throwing more branching, growing bigger fans, etc), compared to the ones I vegged under 24/7 or 20/4/7. Really the only time I do go 24/7 or 20/4/7 anymore is when I am breeding and I am trying out new batches of seeds and I want to see if any of those new seed from my breeding / crossings will throw preflowers when using those extended lighting times, because to me, if a photo period cannabis plant being grown from a seed throws preflowers under 24/7, or 20/4/7 or even 18/6/7 no matter how long it is vegged, it is bad genetics and should be tossed out. Why... because in nature, its completely unnatural for any photo period cannabis plant to throw preflowers when they are getting more than 16 hours of light. But more importantly, I feel like its the breeders duty to create a seed stock where growers can actually control every aspect of their plants development!

  5. If I were doing any crossing, I'd start with bedrock genetics or certified landraces. It's really hard to know for sure what you're getting from breeders and even seed stock unless you check it out for yourself. For now I've got a healthy seed stock, so I'm not too worried about it. Next year though, going back to whites (widow, rhino, and Barry) and indica doms inside. Big plants are a pita when you have to change venues and squeeze em into a cabinet. Whites were very forgiving and flexible with watering, defoliation, even heat stress. Little kelp and no problem. Recent inside grows have needed more coddling than I remember ever giving the white widow grows under HPS, even in the summer. The so-so grows were under LEDs as well. So going back to the White strains under LEDs will give me an easier time in the confines of the cabinet I think. We'll see.
