240 Watt LED enough to grow 3 plants in Tent?

  1. yeah imo 3 would be fine wouldn't do more than that tho or it may get a little cramped in there happy growing :)

    So do you think this will be okay as the only light, good enough for veg, and flowering?
     
  3. Agreed. Don't go too large and you'll be fine.
     
  4. If you look around aliexpress you will see panels that have switches on them to select veg/flower/all by wiring the blue and reds separately. Looking at that panel, I would guess it will up about half the stated wattage, so 120 watts, for a small tent , that should be fine. Although I would shoot for 75-100 actual led watts per plant. Try one plant first.

  5. Bought one of the 240w LED's from HTG 2 years ago when they first came out.
    I've used it for veg & cloning with great results in a 4'x4'x79" tent. Keep it at least a foot above the tops,
    Any closer, your plant's won't like it.
    A SOG is the best option for flowering, Any thing over a foot tall your wasting your time.
