24/0 or 18/6?

    im growing with a 400w hps in a 2x2 area, my plants are 5 days old and I was just wondering which light scedule would be most efficient to grow my plants.

    24/0 is good for the first couple days after the seeds sprout, however 18/6 is better in the long run. Just like all other living organisms, plants need their rest.

    18/6 for sure...yeah 24/0 will cause it to veg...but it naturally has a resting period as it is a plant...let it rest RIP!:wave:

    18/6 is better especially when using HID's.
    Gives a chance for the room to cool and saves energy. Plants also grow a lot during their dark period.
